W.S. Gilbert & Frederic Clay November 22, 1869 |
An operetta with music by Frederic Clay. This operetta was a great success, making Gilbert the most important playwright at the Gallery of Illustration. Features a picture gallery in an old castle, with ancestors stepping out of the picture frames. This idea was to appear again in the Gilbert and Sullivan opera Ruddigore.
Features all of the music from this opera as MIDI files — over 38 minutes of music, with full lyrics and spoken dialogue. Sing-along with this forgotten opera, and discover it for yourself. |
