Geraldine Thompson, whose birth name was Beatrice Helen Thomas, was a chorister with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's No. 1 "Patience" Company on tour in Great Britain and Ireland between March and December 1883. She married D'Oyly Carte principal comic baritone George Thorne in Liverpool in October of that year.
