T. Noble Mounsey (1884-85)

Thomas Noble Mounsey first appeared with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "A" ("Princess Ida" No. 2) Company as Scynthius in February 1884. Mounsey also played Guron before moving up to Arac in Princess Ida in January 1885. That month Company "A" expanded its repertoire to include The Sorcerer, and in June 1885 added H.M.S. Pinafore as well. Mounsey played the Notary and Bob Beckett in the new operas. He appears to have left the D'Oyly Carte organization in December 1885 when "A" Company was disbanded.
