Duncan J. Morley was a chorister Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "C" ("Patience" No. 1) Company on tour between March and July 1884. He later adopted the stage name of Charles Cartwright, and enjoyed a career as actor and stage manager, best known for portrayal of villains at London's Adelphi Theatre melodramas.
