Samuel Mooney (1930-36)

[Born Tipperary, Ireland 1906]

Samuel Mooney spent nearly six years in the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorus:from July 1930 to June 1936. From 1933 to 1936 he appeared with some regularity as Second Yeoman in The Yeomen of the Guard. He also filled in on various occasions as Samuel in The Pirates of Penzance and the Mikado in The Mikado.
