Mollie Mennie was a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company (later simply the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company) from February 1925 to October 1927. From August 1926 to May 1927 she appeared regularly as Inez in The Gondoliers, and filled in on occasion for Beatrice Elburn as Kate in The Pirates of Penzance and for Aileen Davies as the Lady Angela in Patience.
