Irene Marriott (1901-03)
Irene Marriott was in the chorus with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy for the first productions of The Emerald Isle (April-November 1901) and Ib and Little Christina with The Willow Pattern (November 1901), and for the first revival of Iolanthe with The Willow Pattern (December 1901-March 1902). During the Iolanthe revival, Miss Marriott appeared briefly as Fee-Fi in The Willow Pattern before the part was eliminated when The Willow Pattern was condensed.
She remained in the chorus for Merrie England (Savoy and on tour, April 1902-January 1903) and A Princess of Kensington (Savoy, January-May 1903, and on tour into the autumn of that year).
