Jane Fyffe (1956-59)

Jane Marie Fyffe served in the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorus from September 1956 to December 1960. From November 1957 until she left the Company she took the small part of Isabel in The Pirates of Penzance. She also appeared on occasion as First Bridesmaid in Trial by Jury during the 1958-59 season.

After leaving the D'Oyly Carte Miss Fyffe toured for a period in musicals. She was the sister of the late Patrick Fyffe, better known as Dame Hilda Bracket of the comedy team Hinge & Bracket.
