Lewis Fink (1880)

Lewis Fink appeared as the Pirate King with D'Oyly Carte's Second American Pirates of Penzance Company on tour from February to March 1880. He then transferred to Carte's Fourth Pirates Company in the same role, but was soon replaced by G. Byron Browne. It would be his last engagement with the D'Oyly Carte organization.

Fink had earlier toured in the autumn of 1879 with Max Maretzek's English Opera Company in a repertoire of several operas including H.M.S. Pinafore. He later appeared with Selina Dolaro at New York's Haverly's Fourteenth Street Theatre as Captain Robert in La Fille du Tambour Major (October 1880).
