Alice Erskine (1893-98)

[Born Brighton 1866, died Oxford 5 or 6 Feb 1898]

Alice Erskine appeared as Melene with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "E" in the first provincial production of Utopia Limited, December 1, 1893, to December 15, 1894. She remained in the Company "E" chorus until her death in Febrary 1898.

She was the sister of D'Oyly Carte principal soprano Kate Erskine who was Princess Zara in the same production of Utopia.
