THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY
Robert Caradoc (1893-94, 1917-19)

Baritone chorister Robert Caradoc, whose full name was Robert Caradoc Jones, toured with an unidentified D'Oyly Carte company in 1893 and with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "A" from July to December 1894.
After a break of more than 20 years he returned to the Carte organization as a wartime replacement with the D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company in July 1917.He remained with the Company until some point in 1919.
In between, Caradoc made infrequent appearances in London Stage programs:as a member of the crowd in court in a matinee performance of Trial by Jury in the Ellen Terry Jubilee celebration at Drury Lane in June 1906, and as Ulrich in Princess Caprice at the Shaftesbury Theatre, December 1912-January 1913.
