A tribute

Meredith Dixon, curator of this archive 2021-2021

Meredith was born on November 18, 1962 in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of George Blaire and Marianna Dickerson Minter. She earned her Latin/English degree at Randolph Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia and a Master’s Degree in Library Science at Catholic University, and had a career as a librarian. She was a Latin scholar and taught and translated online. She was married to James Dixon for 31 years and was a member of St. Matthias Anglican Church in Dothan, Alabama.

Three months after Meredith assumed the curatorship of the G&S Archive, she died in a car accident. We miss her kind positivity.
