A Waltz Dream is an operetta with music by Oscar Straus and book and lyrics by Felix Dörmann and Leopold Jacobson after a short story by Hans Müller entitled Buch der Abenteuer. It opened at the Carltheater, Vienna on 2 March 1907. For the production at the Broadway Theatre the book was adapted by Joseph Herbert and the music arranged by A. Carroll Ely. It opened on 27 January 1908 and ran for 111 performances.
