No. 6 - Trio - Victoria, Henry, and Pedro - "Round the Corner."
| Henry: | You're looking very sweet, Can't we arrange to meet Somewhere by and by? [Victoria:] It's rather hard to say If I can slip away — Still, I'll have a try. |
| Pedro: | Surely there must be lots and lots Of quiet spots you know. |
| Victoria: | But all the other men, you see, Might follow me also. |
| All: | Wherever can we go? |
| Henry: | Meet me round the corner, Round the corner when There's no one looking. |
| Victoria: | I'll wait round the corner Where the other man can't follow me. |
| Pedro: | Just like Jacky Horner, We must try and find a cosy corner, |
| All: | Well, round the corner, Where the other fellows round the other corner Can't see! |
| Henry: | There's just a word or two I want to say to you When we're quite alone. |
| Victoria: | Ah, yes! You are perhaps One of those nervous chaps — Not the first I've known. |
| Pedro: | I want to gaze into your eyes, It's hardly wise just here. |
| Victoria: | I see you want a quiet chat — We'll manage that, my dear! |
| All: | When no one else is near! |
| Henry: | Meet me round the corner, Round the corner when There's no one looking. |
| Victoria: | I'll wait round the corner Where the other man can't follow me |
| Pedro: | Just like Jacky Horner, We must try and find a cosy corner, |
| All: | Well, round the corner, Where the other fellows round the other corner Can't see! |
