The Red Widow is a musical version of Colonel Savage’s novel "His Official Wife" by Channing Pollock and Rennold Wolf, with a score by Charles J. Gebest. It was first produced at the Colonial Theater, Boston, on 2 September 1911, from where it went on to the Astor Theater, New York, where it opened on 6 November 1911.
