The Lady of the Slipper or A Modern Cinderella is a musical fantasy in three acts. The book is by Anne Caldwell and Lawrence McCarty, the music by Victor Herbert and the lyrics by James O'Dea. It opened at the Globe Theatre, New York on 28 October, 1912 where it ran for 232 performances.
